TNH: The Maiden Voyage

For my very first TNH I wracked my brain. I had lots of ideas, but no good way to execute them on my own. Not to mention the risk of arrest. Even at midnight. My summer home is rural, but not THAT rural.

Staying with a friend in town this week, mulling over options, an idea hit me. An obvious contrast!

This is my friend's bed. Notice the blue sheet above the traditionally floral box springs? I thought it would work well.  It's only one theme, and an alternate one at that. But I'm the new girl, so I'm hoping you'll be nice  ;)

I will also mention that my friend's apartment is a studio. So I was quietly setting up and taking shots in various stages of undress with her sleeping scant feet from me in the easy chair!  So that's your extra bit of TMI titillation for the day >:)

I twisted and turned and did my best to prop and position my smart phone. This is a LOT harder than you all make it look. I.was hoping to get the shots well aligned for a rollover, but sadly it wasn't meant to be this week.

The final result:

I did it. Rather proud of myself for popping my TNH cherry and joining our naughty little group. Perhaps in time I'll graduate to rollovers. After all, your first time is always the worst ;)

Give me your bra....

For my first true post in TMI Tuesday, I decided to share a story from my freshman year of high school.

Freshman and sophomore year I was in swing choir.  Think gLee only without all the available costumes, better music, and close friendships.  ;)  Anyhoo, there was a party for those of us in swing choir one night in the basement of one of the seniors.  I don't remember if if was just a goofy party or someone's birthday.  We were goofing off, performing for each other.  Lip syncing, bad skits.  I remember letting go of my nervousness enough to have fun every now and then.

At one point, a pair of senior boys (really snobby, uptight jerks) were lip syncing to Queen.  Another friend and I, Jason, were catcalling along with everyone else.  He and I were in the front row.  At some point, Jason said to me "give me your bra".  When I looked at him, shocked expression on my face, he explained that he intended to throw it on 'the stage' to throw the guys off.

So in a split second I decided to give it to him.  Wiggling with arms under my shirt, I pulled my bra out one of my sleeves.  An old, worn, plain-jane bra.  Ugly as sin.  Jason threw it, and it hit one of the guys in the face.  Jason, I and several ppl laughed uproariously.  The fun ended for me a bit later, though, when I had to get my bra back.  And face the surprised faces and censorious comments of a few gathered.  That was embarrassing.

First time I truly took any clothes off in public, though.  And there's a first time for everything ;)

TMI Tuesdays PP Style, an introduction

I was first introduced to the world of TMI Tuesday on Wordpress when reading old blogs from NolensVolens' on his first site.  A friend introduced me to NolensVolens' blogs much to my continuing delight.  NV left the first blog, Welcome to My Secret Spot for everyone after he moved his posts to Secret Spot 2.0.  He still plays TNH every week, and it's fun to see.

So, as a way to have fun on my own sex-positive blog, I have decided that Tuesdays will be TMI days.    I like the idea of having a theme around which I can center once post/week.  Sometimes I will play TMI Tuesdays, answering the prescribed questions.  Sometimes, I'll post a more 'traditional' blog, but plenty out there, thus qualifying for TMI land.

"Great Minds think Alike ........

..... so do dirty ones, take your pick."

This is something my father started saying to me about age 12? Somewhere when I reached the age that dirty jokes began to make sense and interest me.  Personally I don't see why someone can't have, and BE, both.

After all, who doesn't like a good double-entendre on occasion?

This will be my second blog.  For followers of my OTHER page on blogger, I will be resuming publishing there in the near future.  I've been wanting to branch out a bit, inspired by NV and several friends in real life.  I've decided it's time to jump off this particular cliff.

Intimacy, love, and sex are greatly discussed and obsessed in our culture.  Each is important in and of itself.  While they are often linked, each stands alone in its own right.  This blog will focus on these themes, with a good dose of fun thrown in 2x week.  At least that's the goal.
